Michelle (AKA Zaza)
Michelle, fondly known as Zaza, is the lively co-owner and chief marketer of Joey Zaza’s. Known for her vibrant chatter and a love for her soy Long Mac, she’ll be sure to leave you with a smile on your face. When she’s not busy making sure everything runs smoothly at the shop, you can find her catching up on some much-needed sleep. Need a sandwich recommendation? Michelle’s got ‘ya covered with the Razzle Dazzle Pork Crackle – Ask her the story behind it next time you visit!
Joey
Joey, our sandwich boss and innovator, co-owns Joey Zaza’s with Michelle. You’ll find him sipping on a strong cappuccino (and maybe munching on a choccy croissant) while coming up with new sandwich ideas for P-Town. While Joey is chatty, he leaves the ear-bending to Zaza, focusing instead on getting things done. Say hi to Joey when ‘ya grab your mid-week coffee or sanga from us!
Georgina
Georgina (AKA G or Geo), has been a barista at Joey Zaza’s since 2023. She’s been known to be a bit of an introvert, but despite the lack of chatter she’ll hand ‘ya your daily coffee with a warm smile. If you’re lucky you might even get bear art on your coffee! When she’s not slinging coffees behind the counter, you’ll find her out and about shopping for the next best thing to add to her closet…
Sol
Sol is one of our sandwich artists and is the team’s halloumi prep genius. Sol’s expertise in crafting delicious sandwiches, especially those with perfectly prepared halloumi, keeps our customers coming back for more. She also saves the team by being the designated store handyman! On the weekends, she’s always down to enjoy a good drink with her friends.
Jess
Jess, who joined the team in 2022, knows all things Joey Zaza’s. She keeps the sandwiches and coffee coming for P-Town and is the friendly face you’ll see most often. You might also hear her loud laughter from time to time which is sure to put a smile on your face too. When she’s not out in the town trying new local cafes, she’ll be hiking or building the itinerary for her next trip. Make sure to chat to her about your travel bucket list!
Gen
Gen is our newest sandwich artist and shares Jess’s love for hiking. Known in the team as the one always ready to sing along to the radio, Gen brings a cheerful vibe to Joey Zaza’s and is quickly becoming a favourite among our customers.
Aina
Aina is the creative genius behind Joey Zaza’s social media and graphic designs. If you’ve admired the posts on our socials or our eye-catching emails, you’ve seen Aina’s work. Her creativity helps keep Joey Zaza’s looking fresh and exciting.
Janet
